Your privacy at AhaWhy
AhaWhy collects only the information needed to provide accounts, digital purchases, learning tools, support, security and optional audience measurement. This notice explains those uses and the choices available to you.

- Support information: messages you choose to send and the contact details needed to answer them.

- Optional analytics: pseudonymous information about visits, devices and interactions, but only after you choose Allow analytics.
Cookies and privacy choices
Essential cookies keep checkout, account sign-in, downloads, security and saved privacy choices working. They cannot be switched off through our analytics banner because the site would not work correctly without them.
With your permission, AhaWhy uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website use and improve products and navigation. Google Analytics may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information and enhanced-measurement events such as downloads. It uses first-party cookies including _ga and _ga_*. We do not send names, email addresses or other directly identifying account information to Google Analytics.
You can choose Only essential or Allow analytics when the notice appears, and change that decision at any time using the Privacy choices button. See Google’s Privacy Policy for information about Google’s processing.
AhaWhy AI assistant
When you use the AhaWhy AI assistant, your question and limited AhaWhy catalogue or help context are sent to OpenAI to generate a response. AhaWhy does not create a chat-history database and requests are sent with response storage disabled. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default, although abuse-monitoring logs may be retained for up to 30 days unless a different legal requirement applies. Do not submit passwords, payment information, health information or other sensitive personal information to the assistant.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal when those options are selected. AhaWhy does not store complete card numbers. We also use service providers for hosting, email delivery, security, analytics and AI processing. Each receives only the information needed to perform its service. We do not sell personal information.
Children and school use
AhaWhy learning materials may be used by children, but purchases and account creation should be completed or authorized by a parent, guardian, teacher or school. A child under 13 should not independently create an account or submit personal information. A parent, guardian or authorized school representative may contact us to review or request deletion of a child’s eligible information.
Retention, security and your choices
We keep account, order and learning information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and protect the site. We use access controls, HTTPS, restricted downloads, rate limits, backups and security monitoring, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You may request access, correction or deletion of eligible personal information, or ask a privacy question, by emailing info@ahawhy.com. Some order, fraud-prevention and tax records may need to be retained where required by law.
